la Madeleine
Culinary Arts Poster Series 

Taking inspiration from la Madeleine’s approach to modernizing classic French cuisine, we decided to modernize another key piece of French history, vintage posters. From classic Cherettes to Cappiello’s later caricatures, these affiches have become a cornerstone of French culture for over 100 years.

Through the la Madeleine Culinary Art poster series, we reimagined these iconic French posters to showcase la Madeline’s new twists on classic French dishes. Mossant’s iconic chapeau poster was transformed to feature la Madeleine’s croissants and Berger 45’s poster became the backdrop for la Madeleine’s fan-favorite brunch. The artwork was featured in-store, on all la Madeleine social platforms, and given away after $50 or more was spent at our French Market. Through this series la Madeleine, a company built on celebrating French culture, found a whole new way to infuse this rich heritage into their modern brand.
